Our Newest Pop-Up Location!
Mount Pleasant and Eglinton

Full of history

The Regent Theatre opened in 1927 as an entertainment and movie venue.
In the 1950s, the only theatre offering live stage performances was the Royal Alexandra, which featured plays and musicals from the American touring companies. Many people felt that a theatre that featured Canadian talent was needed in the city. The Regent was reopened as a live performance venue.

The Theatre

The auditorium has a capacity of over 600 seats, with a large theatre balcony of 150, which connects to tech booth.
Theatre bookings include the lobby with concession, popcorn, beverages and front of house staff. The backstage space opens to large parking lot

The Studios

The studios are off a private lounge with fridge and coffee station, overlooking the balcony with a stunning view.
Two bright sound proof studios, perfect for auditions, readings, self tapes, classes, and small group rehearsals
